Costumers for a Cause

Intergalactic Alliance, a New England based organization, was formed in 2012 by Krista and Sean Carmichael alongside Davira "Divvy" Kuy. It was created as a welcoming community for costumers from all genres to come together in support social and charitable causes. From Star Wars to Star Trek, Firefly to Galactica, DC to Marvel, Doctor Who "Whovians" to Ghostbusters and Sea-swarthy Pirates, we welcome fun-loving geeks with open arms. 

 

Founder Sean Carmichael:

"As a current member of Star Wars costuming groups, I have seen first hand the good that we as costumers can do, but I felt like something was missing. It turns out the answer is simple... more costumers... more characters... more fun...

and ultimately more success."

Last year we discovered an organization,

"Intergalactic Costumers Alliance" (ICA).

While we are separate groups, we share in the 

common mission to bring the love of costuming

and "good works" to the community.
